Elizabeth joined BC Hydro in 2012 and has been responsible for leading the procurement team and successfully concluding the procurement of three major capital contracts under the $8.3 billion Site C Program, managing the project through significant organizational change and playing and instrumental role in the market interactions throughout the procurement. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked at KPMG as a Manager in their Global Infrastructure Advisory Practice. There she managed a number of high profile assignments, including the $1 million+ Public Works and Government Services Canada Engineering Asset Studies contract. Prior to KPMG, Elizabeth worked for Sapium, one of the world’s largest offshore construction companies, where she completed the IMarEST (Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology) accredited two-year graduate training scheme. Elizabeth has an Aeronautical engineering degree from Bristol University, UK and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, BC Construction Roundtable, BC Women in Energy Network, BC Hydro Women’s Network and BC Women’s Infrastructure Network. Outside of work Elizabeth is an avid downhill and backcountry skier, hiker and paddler, and is looking forward to volunteering with the Girl Guides of Canada.
