Clare is an award-winning climate risk leader and certified Infrastructure Resilience Professional (IRP) with over 18 years of experience in both public and private sectors. She has led major projects in climate resilience and adaptation, community planning, disaster response and recovery, municipal engineering and construction, and flood risk assessment and management. Clare specializes in quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, particularly related to flood and climate risk. Her extensive background in infrastructure includes the planning, assessment, and design of resilient transportation networks, stormwater management systems, and municipal utilities. Clare has overseen the integration of climate adaptation measures into infrastructure projects, ensuring that assets such as roads, bridges, and water systems are designed to withstand current and future climate challenges. Clare is experienced in community engagement, including with First Nations, and has led numerous public consultation programs focused on climate and flood risk management.
